Both my children attend here and every teacher, staff member and principal have been wonderful! My kids are excelling in their classes. The teachers interact with parents and encourage their involvement. A+ school.
My daughter attends Emerald Hill. The teachers and staff are top notch! They really care about the students and encourage parent participation.
Both of our kids are having a great time and are very advance in their studies.
I have two children who go to Emerald Hill and I just love it. Each year they receive wonderful caring teachers. The teachers were very involved with keeping me informed with their daily progress and for that I was thankful. I am very thankful for this wonderful school!
I have a student at Emerald Hill elem. She's been going there for three years. She has selective mutism, and they unfortunely are not educated about it. They discourage parental involvement. Which we are disappointed in. We are sorry we moved here. We were hoping for better. The schools are too crowded, they do not want opinions from parents. We do not feel very welcome. If your hoping for Great schools do not come to Culpeper Virginia!
I am a former Fairfax Co. resident where they have an excellent school system. I am quite pleased with Emerald Hill. I have had 2 children at Emerald Hill and thus far am quite impressed with what my children have experienced. The teachers are demanding in an appropriate manner, while retaining a personal interest in each of my children that I had not previously encountered in their previous elementary school in Fairfax Co. I believe this school system is academically competative with schools that have a far larger tax base while retaining a small town feel. My children are in honors(at the middle and high school levels) and in the gifted and talented program at the elementary school level, where they are being challenged. We feel like we found a little bit of heaven here-wonderful schools with a more rural lifestyle.
