Elkton Middle School

My youngest child will be coming to Elkton Middle this year and even though she may be nervous, I am not, this is a wonderful school and excellant staff. I have already had one child go through this school with no problems what so ever.

I think Ekton is a great school to go to. I am a 7th grader, a straight A student and I think the teachers at Elkton are great. Everyone is friendly and the I think the teachers really strive to get the most out of each and every student. We have goals every nine weeks and if we reach them, we get to go and do something out of school. The district is very good, and we have excellent sports and clubs. They also do keep up to date with technology and are now working to get SMART boards and/or iPads to most every class.

I am very disappointed in Elkton Middle School as a whole. I current have my second child of four attending. The majority of the teachers seem tired and overworked and uninspired. There are few bright lights but for the most part there is no innovative teaching and no excitement. The leadership seems young and or inexperienced and the entire faculty is stuck in a box of "what they have always done". Today's learners are different, they are a different generation of digital children and this school doesn't get it.

My name is ?????? and i think that Elkton Middle School is the best school anyone could go to. I am currently a student in 7th grade. Every teacher and student is great. If you are looking at this school for your child i assure you it is WONDERFUL!!!!! I am a straight A student. Thanks to all my teachers. Ecpecially you Mr.Trobaugh you are wonderful. He is my pre-algebra teacher.
