East Rockingham pulled the girls out of class to tell them how they could prevent being raped. Have you lost your minds? Why not just tell them it's all their fault? Did you pull the boys out and talk to them about consent?
This is a horrific way to treat young women. Rape is not something you prevent by wearing the right clothes or makeup. It's prevented by stopping rapists.
When this school opened last year, my daughter was very nervous. After about a week, she realized that nothing had changed, except for the fact that everything was brand new. This school and staff are superb, I love them and so does she!
I was a freshman at East Rock, and everyone said that it would be hard to be a freshman, but it was very easy. The teacher's were good, and easy to get along with. Principals and students handled violence and various issues well. I loved it at East Rockingham High School. (:
