My children have been attending Corpus Christi for several years now. There has been a lot of changes in the school administration during that time. The newest principal has taken a real interest in the school and in getting to know the children and parents. The school has a strong focus on education and academic excellence. On the down side, sometimes my third grader is too overloaded with homework in the evenings and the teacher isn't always good about updating the homework web site so that my husband and I know what assignments are due when and when the exams are. The class room sizes are smaller than other schools which is one of the reasons that we chose the school. My elder child is very shy and performs better in smaller groups. The school has a well balanced curriculcum with poetry and art contests, Christmas pageant, choir, Spanish language class, computer lab and a library.

This is my first year here and I truly feel it is a family. The students, staff, faculty, and parents are wonderful.

This is our first year. I currently have a 9 year old attending 3rd grade and a 3 year old attending pre-school. We chose this school because public school was not addressing issues. Both my daughters love this school. The principal, director pre-school, and Ms. Kaye is awesome. The kids are challenged and are getting a great education. So far we love it.

We chose Corpus Christi because of its reputation; its before and after school program; and its early childhood center. Our first daughter entered in third grade and is now a college freshman. I attribute her academic success in high school and college to the firm educational foundation she received at Corpus Christi. Our second daughter entered in Kindergarten and is now in 7th grade. She, too, is excelling in the Corpus Christi environment.

I have three children at the school now and feel that they are all challenged academically and have learned much more that our friends children at our local public school. All three children are very different in personality and learning style, however they all had the same teacher and she was able to work with and adapt the best learning methods for each student. The community environment is wonderful and the kids look at school like their extended family. All the teachers we have dealt with have been knowlegeable and very competent. We also like the discipline and uniforms as they keep all students on an equal playing ground.

I've been a member of the Corpus Christi family for over 3 years now and have been very pleased. I feel a strong sense of community and am pleased that my children are being raised in the Catholic faith.

Fantastic school with terrific teachers. My children have attended the school for 7 years. They have received an outstanding education and have tested in upper 10 percent of all standardized testing. They are involved in the advanced band, track, basketball and the school play. The school offers an extended day program and has an early childhood center for 3 year olds and up. I most enjoy that they are in a Christian learning environment where they are challenged to recognize the gifts they have received and use them to help others.

Have had 3 children there over the past 7 years. Preschool, kindergarten, and early grades (1,2) are wonderful. They set an early strong foundation on which to build. However, the follow-through in the older grades is not there. The Arlington Diocese does not value education about the 'average' child. Bright children are not challenged and are even discouraged from showing their abilities. The administration is poor--teacher turnover has been very high in the last 5 years. That is a sign of problems in the front office. The prinicipal is ineffective. The school psychologist does not understand educational testing. She was also not helpful in dealing with problems at the school involving bullying and threatening behavior toward teachers. We moved all three of our children to public school this year. The experience has been eye opening.

Our children started attending this school from preschool up to 8th grade. Our older daughter and our son have since graduated and in senior year in college now. Our younger daughter is in the fifth grader. What attracts us most as parents are the strong Christian and moral values that are imparted to our children to make them ready to face the world? Our children are very mature in their thinking and have strong values. The children love their school, their teachers and friends. Friendship have bonded our children and their friends until today. The teachers are great; the Principal is wonderful and down to earth.

I have believed in Corpus Christi ever since my children started attending this school from preschool up to 8th grade. My son has since graduated and in high school and my daughter is in her last year. What attracts me most as a parent are the strong christian and moral values that are imparted to our children to make them ready to face the world. My children are very mature in their thinking and have strong values. Not even once did they ever think of changing schools. The teachers are great, the Principal is wonderful and down to earth. Both the school and church have stood by us in times of grief and need. We couldn't have asked for a better school.
