FCS is very expensive, so I would have expected a higher academic standard. I was not impresssed. The atmosphere is not a Christian one. It appeared to me like any other school. The curriculum seems to be from a "Christian Worldview", but other than that I cannot see this being called a "Christian" school. Parents need to be prepared for that. To sum it up... disappointed.

My child is currently attending preschool at the Fredericksburg campus. We love this school. It has been a blessing not only academically but also spiritually and a great match to my child's learning style. The teacher is incredible and has always made herself available to answer questions and address any concerns that I may have. The parents are quite involved when they can be as well. I do not know if we will always be able to afford to send our child to this school, but I do know that we have not regretted choosing FCS as our child's first school.

Our son went to the Stafford campus middle school and had a horrible experience. There was a very negative attitude by the teachers and administration towards the middle school boys: the boys were assumed to misbehave and there was no love shown- only discipline/punishment. Our outgoing, funloving, highly academic child who loved school had become angry and withdrawn and hated school. We could not make it through the whole school year and had to pull him out.

This is the MOST amazing school one could have the privilege of attending! What an awesome place to send your children! If you have a negative experience in this school then it is because you as a parent were too busy to be totally involved in the Christ centered, parent-educator link. There is nothing more encouraging than to see these teachers cry and weep and consistently pray over their students! I have never witnessed so much love in this school! REAL LOVE, GOD's LOVE!!! If you can't afford it, pray over your application and God will provide the increase for this wonderful, spiritual experience.

Our expeience at FCS was horrible. there was no response from staff or admin when we had questions or concerns. Finally when we wanted answers to our daughter's test grade for a certain class and no one got back to us in three months and we again questioned this, our contract was terminated three days before our daughter's new school year was to begin. Our daughter was needless to say devastated. We felt we were retailated for asking and demanding simple answers to our dauughter's education. This is not really a true christian school to have been treated in this manner. The real person who has suffered is our daughter the student. The school also is totally unorganized and has teachers who do not know the subject material.

I had one son who went to fredericksburg christian school. He would always come home saying he hated his school and i would ask him why, he said the teachers were strict and gave him too much homework which was true because he spends 5 hours on homework at least per day. I think this school is "Heavy Headed" with too much administration. They have bad kids who go there one got arrested for doing drugs but got expelled but the person who bought them only got suspended. I think this is a bad school and would not recomend it.

Love this school! my daughter is only in pre-school but the teachers and staff are wonderful christian educators. Morals and values abound. What a refreshing change from the public schools i went to in nc.

I graduated from FCHS last year. Coming to college and finding other people who went to private Christian Schools is easy but to find Christian Schools that excelled in all the areas of FCS I cannot find one. One of my friends heard about the school from a few of us and wished that he had the opportunities that FCS offers. The teachers and staff (even the janitors) are so nice and welcoming they allow for you to grow fully and in a loving christian environment!

I graduated from this high school a few years ago and I am extremely unprepared for college. I had a very poor educational experience at this high school and a bitter taste of Christianity.
