I rate this school number 1 in scott county VA. The staff is great with the students and parents, and the principal he is great.

This school takes your childs safety seriously. The principal and teachers are very invovled in making sure that your child makes it safely to the bus or to their parent's car. I am very pleased with this schools concern of the students.

This School Is Also a Blue Ribbon School Out Of The whole state of va it was picked to be The Blue Ribbon School. The Teachers Are Very Nice And Will Work With Your Child to His/her need they will do anything to help during school hours. The classes are tought to the need of sol test this year they had around a 90% pass rate or higher. this shows that they meet every need to help students understand everythig better. Everything is a Previllage to everyone only if you get in truble the are not as strickt a most teachers butthe will make sure you are on your best behaviour.And they take you on feild trips Wich Are GREAT. All In All This Is A REALLY GREAT School.

Yuma Elementary is one of the best schools in the state of Virginia. The teachers work hard to make sure that each student works to his/her potential. Sports are offered through the county's recreation league. Music and Art are both taught, however only on a biweekly basis. Everything about Yuma Elementary is top notch.
