Cesar Tarrant is a great school with highly qualified teachers. Most people turn the other way because of the neighborhood in which the school is located but the teachers and staff work hard to give those kids the education they need and deserve. The parent who recently left a review, obviously upset, is giving false and exaggerated accounts of the occurrences at the school. Don't let that steer anyone away. Tarrant's test scores continue to improve and I have faith that their teaching staff will continue to work hard as well.
This is by far, the WORST school I have ever dealt with. When they randomly decide to "make up" a rule, they don't tell anyone about it, leaving your kids stranded without a ride at the last minute, then point the finger at everyone else in their staff before laying the ultimate blame on the parents who had no idea what was going on. Forget trying to get anything done in the school. The Kindergarten teacher my daughter has is completely incompetent and has no business teaching at all. She told her that a lion wasn't anywhere related to a cat. WTH? Since when did she become a biologist and in the position to dictate that kind of information? On top of that, my daughter has been bullied in that school several times. The only information I get out of the school is "It's been handled." - straight from Mr. Ellis, the principal, with no further details. In the mean time, my daughter keeps coming home with black eyes and bruised arms and nobody at that school wants to do anything about it.
I think this school is a great school, I have 3 sons, 2 graduated from ceasar tarrant and are doing well in middle and high school and my last son just started kindergarden there, he loves it and is doing really well. The school is very clean and the teachers and principal is doing a great job working with the kids and meeting all their goals. The staff is kind and is concerned about the children. I would recommend the school to parents. My children loves it!
