We have been very pleased with Crossfield's staff and teachers. They are very friendly both to parents and students. Every teacher that has dealt with my child has done a great job challenging her. She's above grade level and they continue to push her to want to learn more.

The teachers and staff at this school are top notch. I have a great deal of experience in education, and Crossfield has been a blessing. They do an incredible job of challenging students and balancing and helping those in need. My own daughter has had an excellent experience in their advanced academics program. On top of that, even within the AAP classroom, there is differentiation and attention to individual needs, both for enrichment and remediation. A good friend of mine has two special needs children that received excellent, caring instruction, and accomplished things that a parent could only hope for from a public school. Again, I have a long background in education, and I would highly recommend this school to any family.

We've had two children here. One went over the Hunters Woods for AAP, and boy are we grateful for that as our experiences at Crossfield have been rather abysmal. The school seems to have great parent involvement and support, but the academics are terrible in comparison to other Ffx schools. We have three kids who have gone through Ffx schools, and this is far and away the most disappointing. I think this year will mark the third principal in as many years. They don't at all challenge children, and every attempt to discuss this with administration or teachers is treated sweetly but eventually swept under the rug. Teachers are nice, but again, passable at best in terms of inspiring children or really making them learn. i suspect the turnover in school administration has taken a toll. Compared to experiences at other county schools, I feel ripped off as a taxpayer my child has to go here when there are such other good opportunities at schools.

My child is a current 1st grader, the teacher is great, she's sweet and kind. My only wish is that the curriculum was a little bit more challenging. My child is advanced but they don't tailor to advanced kids. School is very clean.

This is hands down the best elementary school there is. Teachers are great and there is low staff turnover. Kids are happy and learning. Loads of parental involvement. Couldn't be happier than to have my kids educated at crossfield!

Our first year at Crossfield has been a very positive experience. I am impressed with the administration team and the teachers. My daughter loves her classroom and teacher. Looking forward to next year!

We have been very happy with Crossfield Elementary. Our children had thrived there, and been happy and safe. We are very pleased with our experiences with this school, and we feel extremely fortunate to be in Fairfax County.

Phenomenal school in every aspect! The Principal and Vice-Principal are fantastic. The teachers are enthusiastic, love the children and have terrific resources at their fingertips. There is a ton of parent involvement in the classrooms and with the PTO. Crossfield has GRACE art that is parent led once a month where the children learn more in depth about a particular artist. Crossfield also offers Spanish, Science and Odyssey of the Mind during after school learning expansion. There is also a television broadcast led by the students. Crossfield also has a gifted and talented program. There is a lot more that I can't fit into this one space. All I can say is that we love Crossfield and know of families that are moving back to the area specifically for this school pyramid.
