Council Elementary School

CE/MS is not just a school, its the cement of our community. Its a small in numbers but its large in learning.One of the greatest assets is Teachers know parents, they know the children, they know what each child needs and how to meet each need. The School is safe, parents feel good about sending their children to CE/MS. Teachers are never too busy to take time to discuss a child's needs. My son went through a very tramatic time when he was in pre-K the teachers were very compassionate, and I knew they would deal with him gently and encourage his ability to learn. I don't think there is a better set of teachers anywhere in the state of Virginia.My son is a 3 generation Cobra, making the honor roll each time due to Great Teachers.

My son and daughter started their academic careers at Council Elementary beginning in the Head Start program. They started out with an excitement and enthusiasm that I remember having when I first walked through those doors. I to am a Council Cobra and couldn't think of sending my children anywhere else! The teachers are attentive, helpful and genuinely concerned about the children's education. Teachers have a very rough job molding those little minds into something great, but the staff at Council are doing excellent work. My son and daughter both are on the honor roll every 9 weeks. I can't be more proud! I want to send out a huge thank you to the staff for their patients, excellent work and love for the children.

My daughter has been enrolled at council elementary school since pre-k, she is now in the 7th grade. The teachers and staff at council are wonderful. It is a small school which I think is a good thing. The staff work with the children. There are several special needs children and the staff does whatever it can to accommodate these children. All and all I think Council is the best school around.

I have a child in the Pre-K class at Council Elem. this year and cann't believe how much he has learned. The teacher and her aids give the children the needed attention they need to learn.
