The principal cares more about appearnces than education. The grading scales (plural)vary from teacher to teacher and are unintelligible.

This school provides a calm, safe environment for the student. The teachers are good, but there is definitely a lack of communication. I have had a very difficult time getting teachers to respond to me, but have not had that problem with the principal. The principal is more committed to helping students individually than I have seen in past administrators, but far too defensive of the teachers. Teachers can do no wrong. Support staff is terrific.

I like this school. The principal has strong leadership skills. The school is clean and safe. I feel welcome when I visit the school. The only issue I have is the lack of consistent communication between home and school with the teachers. I would like to see the web page/teacher pages updated on a regular basis.

I have never felt welcome in this school. I feel the principal is unaccessible. My child was assalted by another student, when I called the principal with my concern, I left two messages stating why I was calling. He never returned my call. I finally called the asst principal and got a response. The principal never addressed my concerns nor was the other child ever disciplined. Another student was suspended for shooting a paper football. Does this make sense? In the 3 years my child has attended this school, I have only had 2 teachers who made me feel welcomed in the school and who showed an interest in my child's well being.
