My daughter started going to this school in the forth grade and now she is a junior. I have been very please with her education she excells in all acadimic taught here at Ladysmith Baptist Academy.
My son has been enrolled in Ladysmith Baptist Academy for 6 years his classes has been small to give him one on one attention that he needed. He has been honor roll for the last 5 years and it is very challaging for him. His teachers takes time to pray with him and his class mates. The academics re-enforces what the bible tells us.
My daughter has attended LBA since the Academy was opened in 2000. She is now in the 8 th grade. When the Academy was first opened, we started with only nine students. God has truly blessed us; each year we have been able to grow. Some necessary administration changes were made this year in August of 2008 to provide the best Christian Education that we can offer our children. We have a wonderful staff that loves to teach children. Come be a part of and continue to grow with LBA. God can take you places that you have never dreamed of. 'Quote by Joel Olsteen'
very unorganized school, reconsider if you plan on sending your child to this school
I have 2 children that attend this school. Overall I am very satisfied. LBA is fairly a new school and I believe it will grow. My childrens teachers are great although I wishe the teachers provided the kids with study guides. Specially when they have a 30 page test and they are notified 1-2 days in advance that they have a test! Regardless the teachers a kind, loving and dedicated to the students. As a parent I love to hear my children talking about their school and how much they like it! The curriculum is wonderful = Abeka is wonderful. Great Christian teaching. However I feel the homework needs to be less, I have spoke to several parents and they all feel the same way. #1 concern is TOO MUCH HOMEWORK.
