I have two children who attended this school from Pre-K through first and third grades. The teachers they were assigned to were professional, knowledgeable, caring and serious about their mission of educating their charges to the best of their abilities. This school is located in a rural area and as with many schools, resources are limited. However, the incentives used by this administration to entice the students to read and do well in all subject areas are top-notched. The accelerated reader program and the summer reading challenge are well-received and the Reading Mastery and Reading Mastery Plus programs are fantastic. A large percentage of students are reading once they leave Kindergarten; and this is great news! The entire faculty and staff sincerely strive to help all of the children to succeed; and that is what is most important. Kudos to Totaro!
