I have had children at MRMS for the last six years. My son will be in the 8th grade this year. He has had a great middle school experience. They hired two great guys at the beginning of his time there and they have both made huge improvements in the school. The students are well behaved and the teachers are awesome.

Maury River is a wonderful school that has a very caring staff. The administration is very helpful, fair, and work hard for the students. The teachers communicate well with parents and do what they can to see that my child gets what he needs to learn. I wouldn't want my child in any other middle school.

The new principal seems to be an improvement. The building is very outdated and needs to be improved. the teachers do not seems fully vested in the students - they seem to view them as the enemy.
