Apple Tree Preschool and Academy

I really like Appletree. I attended Appletree as a child for summer camp and loved it. My child loves Appletree. My child has attended or the last 3 years. I admittedly not loved all of the teachers she has had over the 3 years. However, as a whole, I am happier than then with the other daycares I visited. My child loves it there, she is safe, and I feel like they truly care.

I don't know about other Apple Tree Preschools but there is a fundamental lack adult of supervision at the Manassas school. The staff was very unresponsive and confrontational when I tried to address this issue.

I currently have a 4yr enrolled and had another child attend for 3 yrs (including Kindergarten). This school is the best option for any parent. You're child will be loved and educated. Communication to the parent is fantastic and the parent is always invited to particpate (but not required). Love the administration and teachers. The administration and teachers always have time to chat about your childs needs, your concerns or just child rearing stories. They are interested in getting to know you and your child.

We have used Apple Tree for over 10 years. We LOVE Apple Tree. It provides SAFE, QUALITY childcare in a nuturing enviroment. I NEVER worry about my child. I wouldn't put my chidren any where else! The majority of the staff has been there longer than we have attended which speaks volumes. My son talks non-stop about his favorite dishes prepared the best by staff. The staff loves these kids and these kids love the staff. The school is always bright and clean with many exciting activities. The best statement about the school is that I have a child who doesn't want to leave at the end of the day! We will be sad when we finally outgrow the school as it is part of our family!

My daughter attended Apple Tree's preschool program and Loved it. All she talks about, even in summer, is her teacher and what she learned. She is constantly telling me "my teacher taught me that". Her classroom was always kept clean and she was constantly bringing home projects she had done. Both of us are looking forward to September when she will go back.

We had a horrible experience at this school with their preschool. We would walk into his class, and no one would greet him nor smile. The teacher and assistant looked miserable. I didn't see any joy in the hall of the preschool classrooms. My son was miserable. I finally pulled him out and put him somewhere else where he immediately thrived. Just yesterday he asked me never to take him back there. He wanted to know why everyone was so mean there. I could go on...

Apple Tree is family owned and it's a big school. Yet, they have a lot of the same faces around each year. Some have been there a really long time, parents and teachers. There's a reason for that.... My only complaint about the school is some of the other parents, who unlike me, think the rules don't apply to them.

Appletree is a fantastic place to put your little one. The Staff are outstanding and exceptional! Great positivity flows throw the doors of the school who celebrates 32 years of serving the Manassas community. We love Appletree!

It didn't take long for my 2-yr old to adjust to her new school. She seems happy to be there. Staff is very friendly and there is a small-town feel, in that so many staff know my daughter by name though she's been there just 2 months. I intend to communicate to the administration that there is a need for improved parent communication, starting with a suggestion box and email communications. We love this school though there is always room for improvement.

Apple Tree uses a great hands-on learning center approach that the teachers implement creatively within each classroom. They have a weekly Spanish, Creative Movement, and Music program that all the children participate in out of the classroom, as well. The teachers and Administrative staff are great to work with!

Appletree is a family owned school. The administration is flexible and interested in making your child succeed. The teachers are absolutely wonderful, easy going, academically aware and very patient.
