Most teachers at the school are kind and seem to want what is best for the student; however, they are strictly limited by the principal. This was reported to me by my child's teacher this year, as well as last year. Teachers are instructed to teach all children the same way. While there are some options for those who struggle; there seems to be little to no options for those whom are ahead of their peers. Also, parent involvement seems to be discouraged. Parents are not invited to field trips and are only welcomed in a classroom if they complete a back ground check -- that you must complete through the school. Also, the materials and styles of teaching used are very dated. If you are a fan of very traditional and rote learning, this is the place for you. There is very little room for creative thinking and authetic learning.

I am a parent of a child at Meadowview Elementary. I am very pleased with my child's progress. Upon beginning the year, the teachers and principals always seemed welcoming. When passing most teachers in the hall, they are always smiling and very polite. I do wish the students had more time to go to the library. My child loves to read and I would like to see her be able to get books when needed. I would recommend this school.

Meadowview Elementary is a wonderful school. So far the teachers my children have had are very caring and take great interest in each child reaching their learning abilities.

Meadowview Elementary provides an education to a large number of students. The teachers work very hard and go above and beyond their call of duty. My child has loved going to Meadowview, and the teachers there have always been wonderful to my child. I am proud of the teachers and administrators.

The teachers are awesome! They will go above and beyond and you can talk to them about anything. Most of the teachers will tell you that they are a mom first and then a teacher.

To be the largest elementary school in the county there is a desire to bring the school up to date in technology while not losing the importance of personal interaction with the students. The teachers, faculty, and staff provide a safe and nurturing environment which creates a positive outlook on education in a negative world. I am proud to be a MES parent!!!!

I hate this school!!! The teachers and principals are awful... I would never wish for a child to be sent here.
