Middleburg Elementary School

Middleburg Elementary School is the best kept secret in Loudoun County. It is tiny - only about 80 students in the entire school so everyone knows your child - from the principal to the very active parent volunteers. A child will never fall through the cracks in this place and my children have flourished! It is truly a family here - a very special place.

This is a fantastic school! All of my children have received a top notch education. A great staff, a wonderful curriculum, and great kids. There is also a strong music, p.e. and art program. In addition, there are lots of after-school activities, including Study Buddies, scouts, running club, garden club, ski club, chess club, and yearbook. Students can also sign up for music lessons and occasional after school art programs. Middleburg Elementary also won the Governor's Award for Excellence just last year! I can't say enough good things about this school.

School sizes are small. The teachers are very caring and seem to care about the children. I think the academics could be stronger - my child has not been challenged to date and she just entered third grade.

This is by far the best of the best. All the staff is just wonderful and very interested in each student. We are a small school more like a family school. We are very lucky to have such a group!
