Nokesville Elementary School

I am astonished that this school only has a great school rating of 6! What is that based on?! The test scores at NES are awesome. The administration from Mr. McDaniel down through the staff and teachers are awesome. Small school feel. Everyone knows each other. Very safe! My sons started here in the 3rd and 5th grades, and agree this is the best school they have ever been to, and unfortunately they have been to several public and private.. They love the small community atmosphere! That rating school be higher. Parents..look at the parents 5 star rating! That should mean the most to you! : ) NES is great!

This school starts with the top The Principal, Mr McDaniel, he goes out of his way to be involved and support each student and teacher. Mr. McDaniel is always positive or makes it positive. The community support and parents that volunteer is like no other. My child has attended 2 other schools before this one and Nokesville doesn't even compair to the others. It's that great. My child comes home happy everyday and feels like he is important and has learned far more.

I love this school! It is small, has a ton of community support, parents are very involved in volunteering, the teachers are fantastic! The best part of the school is the principal, Bruce McDaniel! He knows every child by name, is extremely accessible and dedicated to the success of each student. We moved from the Montclair area so my boys could go to this school. We LOVE it!

My daughter started here in kindergarten, and is now in fifth grade. I could not have asked for a better school! The presentation of the curriculum is excellent, with a lot of on-hands learning involved, and the teachers are exceptionally dedicated, compassionate, and caring, even if your child is not one of their students! The principal, Dr. Ralston, knows each child personally, and the children are his joy in life.
