Greenville Elementary School

The teachers are AWESOME. They are always willing to help and go beyond what is needed to help the student. Parent involvement is great also. Parents always volunteer to make the students experience better. The current Principal needs to do much better. Once she has set her mind to something, she will not change it (no matter how many parents email her).

Greenville is a great school. I love my son's teacher, she communicates well with parents and has a strong background in technology. My e-mails are answered within 24 hrs. There is strong parent involvement within the school, volunteering is encouraged. The school is open minded about alternative ways of teaching students and learns from other schools successes. I feel the 6 rating is only because it's a new school, 2nd year, so there isn't a large history of SOL testing. I think last years results were pretty good. Don't let the 6 rating hold you back from sending your child to this school. It continues to improve.

Greenville is off to a great start. The teachers and administration are trying to create a learning and caring environment. Parent involvement and commitment is strong.
