This school is so overrated, my grandson has just completed his first year and I hope my daughter does not put in back in there. There is no organization and everyone seems to be doing what every suits them. The academic program is horrible and most of the front office staff is rude. I went to the open house this year and it was a big joke. Parents and children were talking and running around throughout the presentation so you could not hear anything being said by Dr. White or the Vice Mayor. I would not recommend this school to anyone.

The school is good. The staff is always there to help and listen. The teachers always encourage the students to do and be there best. They are even learning manners!

I think Dreamkeepers is the best elementary school that Norfolk has to offer. Dr. White is a very good educator and serves as a great authority figure for the children attending. My now 13 year old son attended this school and I have a current 3rd grader attending as well. The curriculum is excellent considering the enrichment classes that the students have to take. Eventhough the days are longer, my daughter loves to go to school. The good thing about it is, no matter where you live in Norfolk, your child could qualify to go to this school. I will be leaving this area for the upcoming school year and will greatly miss Dr. White and the staff.

This school is just too great. They have a kind of like quiz show every week. The one thing that concerns me is the safety of this school. There are way too many fights in this school and talking back to teachers!

This is the best school my kids have ever gone to! This is the first time I have never had to coerce them to go to school. They are even angry when they have to stay home. This is a school with extended hours but they get to do so much more than usual. They have swimming, golf, tennis, tumbling, and other athletic events. They also are persuing excellence in education. They have drama, debate, forensics, chrome, foreign languages, on top of the regular school programs. They once a week test each other by having a quiz program like event. The school is divided into two groups and they have kept the total all year long. The school also is having the kids do all sorts of projects. My third grader did a power point presentation for her report. So did the forth graders. I can't say enough about this school.
