An amazing school! My son is in his 2nd year and our daughter will start in the fall. Our son has had such a wonderful experience. We looked at many local schools and my son went to another preschool for one year. Our experience there was fine. He liked it, he made friends, he did projects... all fine. But he was not really challenged. Most preschoolers I know are hungry for new challenges, knowledge, mastery, etc. The Montessori environment/philosophy, and McDonald specifically, feeds this curiosity and provides such a wonderful foundation to love learning and love school for the rest of their lives. If you are unfamiliar with Montessori schools or even if you are, I highly recommend a visit to this school. The staff and teachers are so positive, caring, and stimulating. The kids are engaged, happy and respectful. And the classrooms are orderly and... quiet! a must see!

We love this school! This is my daughter's second year here. She started as a first grader, transferring from public school, with no prior Montessori schooling. We were not sure how well she would make the transistion. With the help of her lead teacher and the asst. she had no problems. She is thriving academically and socially. If you were to ask my daughter what she likes best about McDonald Montessori School, she would reply 'Everything!' We have found the administration, teachers and other families to be friendly, accomodating, and very interested in the well being of all of the children. We highly recommend this school for anyone looking for a Montessori school.

My children and I have absolutely LOVE McDonald Montessori. I have nothing but praise for the teachers and staff. My children have been treated with caring, love and courtesy. I find the staff wonderful when guiding the children to work through problems, helping them to grow and learn not just academically but to also care for each other and the world. The individual attention given to each child's needs is amazing. The classroom environment nurtures each child's specific love of learning and desire to discover the world. Children are guided into learning, and not force fed, giving them the satisfaction of a job done on their own. My children are excited to go to school everyday. The facility creates an intimate setting where older children and younger children can interact and help one another creating friendships that could not happen at a larger school. McDonald Montessori is FABULOUS!!!!

My daughter is in her 2nd year and I love this school. I have experienced none of the issues stated in the first review. My daughter is doing extremely well here and I have already enrolled my son for next year.
