The school is full of bullies. Nothing is done. The principal gossips about the poor teaching quality. He acts as if he knows it all and is not open to input. This school use to be thought of very highly, but the principal has lack of maturity and knowledge of students. He still lives in the days when he played in high school playing ball. He needs to know that his job is now not his playing past. He discouraged family and friends from bringing their children to this school due to lack of teaching skills in 7th grade. Major changes are needed. They do not want parent involvement. They have a few parents that hang there and substitute only to carry out gossip on the students and faculty. The principal does not investigate bullying incidences and does not want to be questioned about them. He thinks he is irreplaceable but he needs to be replace soon.
I do not give Norton schools a rating of even 1 star!! The bullying at Norton schools is a hugh problem and they do NOT give out punishment that is deserved! They do nothing about bulling! Why is this such a problem? What is wrong with our school system? The teachers and principle have tried to correct this problem but after six times of going to the school the punishment was still not enough to stop the bullying that the student was under going! What is it going to take to correct this problem?
The teachers & Principal boast of 'zero tolerance' when it comes to bullying, but they do not follow through.
This school is not worth going to,everyday kids pick on one another for no good reason, but the teachers are ok.
Our School is filled with wonderful caring teachers and support staff that go beyond the call of duty for our kids. They go the extra mile to help our kids so that they not only do well academically they help them to expierence a great number of extra curricular activities. They help the children stay interseted and focused by doing an array activities that make learning fun. They encourage parent involement and give you many opprotunities to be involved in your childs education. Very blessed my children have the opprotunity to expierence this caring enviornment.
