Very good school. Both of my girls have gone here and when the oldest one went to middle school in an area where Elk Knob students usually don't go, she excelled due to her good foundation from Elk Knob

This school is wonderful and has a great standard in learning they were one of the 10 schools that got picked for a blue ribbon award out of the U.S. My child has been treated with respect and has had straight A's the whole year but I will single out a teacher that you would want your child to have well a couple of teachers actually. Starting with K Mrs.McElroy 1st Mrs. Marcum 2nd Mrs. Jessee 3rd Mrs.Pendergraft 4th Mrs.Napier and My faviorate techer at that school and the best teacher would be Todd Light that is why My child had straight A's the whole year! He has a different way of teaching the kids but it works! He is the beast Teacher Ever and I love him! He has done so Good with my daughter!

Principal and teachers are very caring and involved. A lot of parental involvement. It is a small school. Would like to have more afterschool activities and tutoring available to the kids. My children feel bullied and harassed at times by the local kids on the school buses and playground. School administration says there is nothing they can do about it...

Overall a good school, teachers are caring and involved. The parking situation needs to be improved before a child is injured prior to school opening and closing. Parking rules need to be enforced much better. The current 4th grade class (2003-2004) is too large, the district uses the explanation there are a number of them in spec. ed classes that are not in the room all day but this does not help the teachers cope with the number of children in their rooms.
