This is a great school with even greater teachers. My dad went to Riverlawn, my sister and I went to school at Riverlawn and now 2 of my kids are enrolled at Riverlawn.
Thank you to Principal Bowler, Mrs. Quesenberry, and all the staff and faculty at Riverlawn! You have made my son's first year of school such a fun and growing time. He comes home with 'rave reviews' from all the goings on of the day adn looks forward to each day.
I think this is a really good school. My daughter has been there since kindergarten. The teachers are wonderful!
My daughter is finishing up her kindergarten year at Riverlawn. Mrs. Armbrister is wonderful teacher. She is very loving and patient with the children, yet she makes them behave and use their manners(there is too little of that these days!) She makes learning fun for the children. She is very involved with the parents and always available to talk with them. My daughter has learned so much in her class this year. My daughter's bus drive, Ms. Watson is also wonderful! She always makes sure I am home before she lets my daughter off the bus. Mr. Bowler is a fantastic principal. He is always seen walking the halls and outside when the buses are loading. He smiles, waves, and says hello to the children and parents. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. Riverlawn is like on big happy family!
I would first like to say that i would not send my child to this school if i had to! I have a six year old step daughter who attends this school who is failing, and the staff at this school wants to pass her. If the child still writes her name wrong and cant read, why should she pass? If this continues she will never be able to read or write the correct way, because this staff at this school doesn't care! they do not care about your childs learning abilities!
I would like to thank the staff at Riverlawn Elementary. The staff is very aware of the students and how they are doing. They work with the parents and keeps the aware of how there kids are doing. The teachers are wonderful and works with students like none I have seen before. I would not want my child to go anywhere else but there. They make learning fun for the kids. My daughter loves going to school and it makes me proud to know she loves her school the way she does. Riverlawn is like one big family. I would recomend this school to everyone because of the teachers and the rest of the staff who keeps the kids happy and wonting to come back day after day. Keep up the good work parents, staff, and most of all students.
I think that this is a wonderful school, I like the teachers and how the principal handles things when they happen. He don't wait until the next day he is on schedule with the students. And also Sandy Jones is the best secertary that they could ever have there. She is very respectful and always willing to help parents when they need them. Thank you Riverlawn for being the best school that my child is in. I feel honored.
