My children have attended Banner for nine years and counting. They are thriving under the tutelage of knowledgeable and loving teachers who love the Lord and teach my children to do the same. Banner has a family-type atmosphere and is a nurturing and accepting environment for all their students. We have noticed that the faculty as well as the students are welcoming of individuals with different backgrounds, incomes, spiritual gifts, interests, and abilities. Students are encouraged and supported to grow in their abilities in academics, sports, drama, art, music, missions, etc. and are prayed for by the faculty, staff, and student and parent groups. Our children love their school and are proud to be Banner Christian Bearcats. My husband and II would recommend Banner without reservation.

I know many people who have gone to Banner and from a outsider's perspective it seems like a great school. That's just a mask put on to bring in new people a.k.a. money. Some of the staff really care about the student body but most of them do not. They choose favorites and if you are not a favorite you will be greatly frowned upon and treated terribly. It seems to me that they put sports on a much higher pedestal than God. I wouldn't send my child here if I was paid to.

Banner is a blessing!! I have had two students at Banner - one has graduated and one still attends. We are going into our 5th year at Banner. We moved to here several years ago and know that God lead us to Banner. Our children have been loved and supported, they have grown spiritually and have been exposed to many opportunities. From ministering to children at a low income school in the area, to mission trips, to drama, to sports - the list is endless. When a problem or concern arises, we have brought it before the teacher and/or administration and it is taken seriously. As far a the review about discrimination if your family doesn't have a certain income - that is far from the truth. There is a very wide variety of family incomes and backgrounds...from missionary families to pastor families, single parents, 1 income families, 2 income families.... most of the families are making monthly sacrifices to have their children in a Christian environment where they are learning about Christ in EVERY subject. It's a sacrifice well worth making in my opinion - it has been well worth it for us.

10+ STARS for Banner Christian School!!!! We have two children at Banner and this is our second year there. We are so happy that we chose Banner and have had NO COMPLAINTS!! My son came from a public school and academically was not at where he should be for the 8th Grade. The upper school teachers displayed the most genuine support to help him that I have ever witnessed. Administration and the teachers all truly have the students best interest at heart and will do whatever it takes to make sure each student excels academically and spiritually! Our family is a one income family making much less than the average middle class family yearly, however, Administration has never treated our family with any less respect. They have always been willing to help in any way they can as they are much more concerned with each students education. Banner begins it's day with a student-lead Praise & Worship time and parents, as well as, friends and family members are encouraged to attend daily. If you have ever been to a morning at Banner, there is no mistaken the Christian values among the staff, students and teachers! Our family HIGHLY recommends Banner Christian School!!

We have been a part of Banner for 5 years. Our children attend elementary, middle and high school at Banner. The students are challenged academically, but they are not unreasonable expectations. The teachers are phenomenal and are all college graduates. You can see the love and true concern for not only the education of the students, but also their character development. Banner's tuition is higher than other local, Christian schools - but you know that when you sign the paperwork. You also do not have to sell candles or wrapping paper - everything is included in the tuition. In this case, the tuition is worth the money to see the academic growth and spiritual growth of my children.

At Banner, Christ comes first with education second to none. Each day begins with a time of praise and worship where all teachers, students and parents prepare our hearts and minds for the day ahead. The academic environment is challenging, but not above where my kids are capable. The teachers truly love the kids - they attend their soccer games, ballet recitals, etc. all out of love - you can see it with your own eyes when you visit Banner. I encourage you to pray if Banner is where the Lord wants your children. It has been a blessing for our family for the past several years.

Banner's goal of late seems to be to offer a slightly Christianized version of an exclusive college-prep school. To someone who believes in Christ's mission to the poor as well as the Book of James and its admonitions to avoid glorifying the wealthy above those of smaller means, Banner's arrogance is distasteful in the extreme. On the other hand, if you are a well-heeled family whose Christian values are only skin-deep, the Banner administration will love you and your kids will enjoy the special treatment they will receive here. If you are a working class family for whom $6000 a year represents a significant sacrifice and for whom last-minute field trips, parent/teacher meetings and special programs are difficult as you need to work for a living, please look elsewhere for a Christian education for your children. This is not the school for you and your sacrifice will not be appreciated.

Our student graduated from Banner in 2009 and we know that enrolling him there was one of the best decisions we've ever made. There is a strong sense of "family" and a sweet spirit that you can just feel when you walk in the door. We were there for 5 years. We found that any concern or issue we brought to the attention of the school was quickly addressed and resolved. The Parent-Teacher organization known as Banner Bridge offered many opportunities for parents to get involved. Due to his GPA and class standing at the end of his freshman year, our student has been invited to join the Alpha Lambda Delta National Honor Society. We are grateful for the role Banner played in preparing him for this achievement.

This is our 4th year and our children love Banner and are doing well. The teachers are easy to talk to and open to suggestions and will cater to a childs specific needs. Most of the students know each other by name from K-4 up to High School. The High School students are a wonderful example of politeness and Christ Love that will shine down to our little ones. My children have attended for five years and this will be the last year. We are looking into other schools. Some Middle school and High School teachers are lacking qualifications to teach the given subject. If considering this school, make sure you talk to the teachers who will be teaching your child. Also consider talking to parents of students who went through that teacher's class the previous year. Make sure you talk to the principals and administrators - some are wonderful to talk too, others will leave you feeling cold. I am very sad over the changes I've experienced in the last several years - decline in the quality of teachers, decline in the quality of administration.

Banner has impacted me so much! Through it, I have been able to learn more from the Bible than I ever could alone or at church. It serves as not only a place of learning science, math, englich and history, but also a place of training its students for future trials of faith. Secular college professors better watch out for these well-trained evangelists!

My kids love Banner! The teachers are caring, and even if they are not 'highly qualified in the subject that they teach', they are 100 times more knowledgeable, more dedicated, more committed, more effective, and more hard-working than public school teachers. I highly recommend this school! The environment is wonderful, and friendships span all grades. And students have fun learning!

Banner has truly impacted my life for Christ and has given me a pleasent environment and learning experience. One of the best parts about Banner is that the bullying is almost non-existent and that all people from all grades talk and fellowship together.....Go Bearcats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is truly the best school I have ever been associated with. The teachers are wonderful and program is exceptional. My children love to go to school. The most important aspect about Banner is that Jesus Christ is central in every area. We love Banner! 6 stars!

It has been a positive experience in many ways. The lower school has many devoted teachers. The middle school teachers aren't always trained in the subjects they're teaching. Difficult to meet needs of varying academic abilities. Lacking facilities.Teachers discuss students' sins with uninvolved people.

My son has grown exponentially since starting Banner. We are truly happy with the level of education he's getting in Kindergarten! Spanish, Art, Music & Computer labs. Love it.
