When we were deciding between moving to Leesburg and Ashburn, a large factor in our decision was education. We were leaning toward Ashb. because the school reviews were just an itsy bit better than Lees. & public kindergarden in Lees. is "half-day" which really means around 2 hours. My sister-in-law has a masters and phd in education and she advised me to make sure my daughter was in school @ least 4 hrs/day to prep for 1st. I searched more and found this AMAZING "kindergarten enhancement program" designed to complement public 1/2 days, at Destiny Preschool For the Arts! FABULOUS! they teach art, creative movement, music, EVEN PIANO LESSONS! Both my children (I also have a son age 2) have been attending summer camp there all summer, and will be enrolled again in the fall. They LOVE it! AND THEY EVEN HAVE A CAR DROP-OFF!!!!!!! (Something veteran mothers of preschoolers appreciate!)
