I have 3 children that attend Holladay in grades Kindergarten, 2nd, and 5th. They really love this school. The faculty is great, and my kids love all of their teachers. I can't speak highly enough of Principal Joseph who is an awesome Principal. He has really turned this school around and is very involved with the students. Also the teachers seem to be very happy there which is a sign of great leadership!

Our kids first school year at Holliday Elementry have been very new and educational. Our kids are doing so well and bringing their grades up. Their homeroom teacher are so nice and well liked by the students. They enforce the importance of education and communicating with parents weekly by phone and newsletter.

My kids have learned so much and the classes are not too large so they still can get that one on one attention if it is needed

I love Holladay Elementary School because the whole faculity staff is excellent, friendly, and have a good communication towards the student and parents. The principal is excellent he gives you phone calls when needed and he always leaves voice messages about whatever is going on at school or the upcoming events.

it all starts at the top and I cannot think of anyone who deserves a pat on the back for the way they run their school other than Mr. Joseph! He's great with the kids and keeping everyone updated and on top of things, and the teachers really care and it shows!!

I taught at Holladay for 35 years. There is an indefinable quality about the school, which a people sense as soon as they walk through the doors. This 'feel' has been mentioned to me by many visitors. Perhaps it is the unflagging dedication of the teachers, not only to support the students, but each other. Perhaps it is the history of the school's namesake, Elizabeth Holladay, the first teacher in Henrico County, who taught her first students in her home. Perhaps it is the positive support of the administration. It is definitely the love and determination of all involved to help our students achieve their best, in terms of both education and personal growth. Ultimately, what people may feel as they walk through the school is the sense of family.

Holladay Elementry School has been an excellent experience for each of our children. The teachers are magnificent. They show their professionalism through their knowledge and character. The entire team at Holladay seems to work exceptionally well together which we believe creates an environment for a safe and productive place to learn. We thank all the staff for making Holladay an outstanding place to send our children for their education.

I love Holladay because the teachers are very supportive and help the kids in every way they can. The principal, Mr. Joseph, is a wonderful principal that clearly cares for the students and teachers in his school. I couldn't have asked for a better school for my children to attend.
