The school is completely unable to handle any student with needs outside of the "normal". It has been my experience that they ignore medical diagnosis and simply send the child home bc it "is not their responsibility" or bc "they simply can not handle it" or the best was " you know your child will just be suspended anyway if you don't come pick them up soon". They have neglected several times to inform us when our child was injured, and when asked about it, put the blame on the child. The principal has even spoken inappropriately at this student of special needs when they tried to apologize for something, goading them with "really, are you, really?" To an autistic child! So glad this child is getting away from the negligence and pure ignorance of this staff!

have had nothing but problems with the school since my son started kindergarten in September! Staff doesn't handle situations that arise.

My daughter is an honor roll student at this school and my son goes to kindergarden here also. I visit the school often and have volunteered and the teachers are very nice and helpful. They really care about the children here.

The principal is exceptional; she really cares about the students and the staff. Every effort is always made to make sure that what we teach the students is both socially aware and aligned to state (and national) standards. The staff is energetic, enthusiastic, and empathetic towards all students. This is a great place to work and a fabulous place to learn.
