Oakland is a wonderful school.
I have had nothing but great experiences with Oakland! My daughter has had wonderful teachers who are involved and attentive! She is in the 4th grade. Her 3rd grade teacher and 4th grade teachers have been well loved by her and the rest of the class. They have both been able to have fun with the kids, keep their attention and yet be able to discipline them in ways that are appropriate. Both teachers have expressed concern immediately if my daughter seems to be losing interest or is just having trouble. They have always been available to me and willing to listen to concerns that I have. The principal, Mr. Johnston is awesome! He knows every child and is very personable.the kids love him!
