Speedwell Elementary School

I am a Mother in N.C. who's ex husband had been behaving innapropriatley and the two children were to stay away until all illegal alchol/partying activity had ceased, The father took the children from grandparents and ran to virginia, my son is at this school I recently found out called 2 1/2 weeks ago the secreatary said he was busy I gave her all the details of situation...father has cut phones off no water or phone and keeping them in a hunting cabin...The principle never returned my phone call, my heart is breaking and I want them home but I need this school to give me info and they are doing nothing! I love you J.E.R.

As a parent of children who have been to other schools, I can say Speedwell Elementary truly raises the bar to which other schools can only dream of reaching. If only other Principals could have half of Mr. Rouse's leadership skills and passion for each student's achievement. Best school in the County.

Mr. Rouse is a wonderful addition to Speedwell School. The level of 1:1 of teacher to student is great. The teachers really care.

Speedwell is the best school any great kid could go to. They have great teacher and staff and great test scores.

this is a great school to send your child, I went as a child and all four of my children went and now my grandchild will go in a couple of years, the staff is terrific and the small scale of students to teachers make learning so much easier.
