is agreat place great and caring teachers to much homework and and speeding through lessons befor kids have grasped the concept sometimes but we love it

This is a wonderful school that I have worked at for 9 years. The teachers work very hard to meet every need of the students. I was very surprised and taken aback that this school only got a 6 out of 10, we deserved so much more, not just because I teach there but because I also am a parent to a student.

My son is in 2nd grade & has attended Berkeley since kindergarten. We're very pleased with the school. We love that it is the smallest school in the county; it has a nice community feel. The principal is great, very active & good with the kids. We've liked some of his teachers better than others, but that's normal. My son has ADD & the staff has been very helpful in getting him the help he needs. I do feel there is too much homework & emphasis on testing, but unfortunately, I think that is a statewide problem. Overall, we're very happy with Berkeley.

This the best elementary school in the county. My child has attended 2 others and this one also has the best food. the staff there is very caring.

My son really enjoys school. We moved from SC to Virginia and I had to home school my child because I was not happy with the school system there. I have no complaints about this school.
