Stanleytown Elementary is an excellent place to learn and grow. The teachers genuinely care, understand children and love to teach. It has students who yearn to learn and a principal who leads with dignity and grace. The principal, Mrs. Hairston-Penn has an obvious love for and an understanding of young children. Mrs.Laryssa Hairston-Penn knows every child by name. She loads and unloads the buses every day. She inspires and motivates the teachers and the students to give 100 % , 100 % of the time. She leads by example and is an excellent role model for my children. My son is a 5th grader at Stanleytown. He has attended Stanleytown since age 2. My daughter attended Stanleytown for 6 years. This school and it's staff and administration are largely responsible for their success and their motivation to be life long learners.
