To Potomac Hight school in sterling va To whom it may concern: I m a concerned parent that feels very excited that my son has shown an interest in extra activities. I was attending the Wood Grove freshman Football game which was rainy miserable night!! the reason I m writing this letter is because I witnessed number of players including my son get minimal play time, the head couch was very unaware of which player had played or not our coach had to be on the field a total of 6 times the Wood Grove coach never had go out in to a huddle with his team. I believe when a score is 53-18 that there should be no reason that a player should not have the chance and the experience to be on the field .Potomac Falls high school is a great school and has great parents and faculty , I know that this letter will be taken in to consideration. Thank You Concern Parents
Had the option to go prep school but PFalls turns out bright, talented, mature students ready for the real world! They are the Best!
Its a bad bad school. Should be closed down :(
I love Potfalls! it is by far the best school in the county despite the rumors that are spread. yes we do have issues, but wat school doesnt? we also have the highest graduation rate of all the schools around. speaking of graduation, i will be in 365 days! cuz exams are over as of today and i am officially a senior!! class of 2010 baby! all the wayyyy!
I'm a Junior at PFHS, and I love it! The people are nice, the teachers are helpful, and the football games are a lot of fun. I keep a GPA of 3.5 in a tough set of classes, I believe that PFHS is doing a great job.
i'm currently a junior at potomac falls, and i have a learning disability. I just have to say the school did everything they could to help me work with it. It took a while to get my IEP, but when i got it my grades shot up from D's and F's to A's and B's. Not only are they good with learning disabilities, but ESL and Special Ed. students, too. And almost all of the teachers are amazing. Not only for lectures but for counseling, too. I think its a great school, and a lot of people say bad stuff about us, but we really are a good school. the only bad thing is, we dont really have a set tradition. And we don't get the spirit support and extra curricular support i think we should get. Over all its a good school.
i go to PFHS as Junior I think this is a great school exspecially if you have a learning disability. At PFHS they will help you out.Although one thing i don't like is that everyone there is such and over achiever and if your not its kinda wierd to them.
I'm a freshman at Potomac Falls High School and I love it here. We have really great teachers and extracurricular activities.
I have a junior and a freshman here, and both have had positive experiences at PFHS. My freshman had difficulties at middle school, but he has thrived at PFHS. His history teacher, Mr. Palazza, made all the difference by encouraging him to try out for a sport, as well as engaging him in classroom participation. My son now has a sense of belonging and is eager to participate in after-school activities. My junior has excelled academically and has had wonderful interactions with his teachers and fellow students. The music, art and sport programs are well-staffed and challenging. My sons' high school experiences have been enjoyable, and we feel fortunate that we have PFHS in our community.
I'm a senior at PFHS and I love it here. We have one of the best English and History departments in the county. Even though we are a fairly new school, PFHS we have definitely been improving in academics, sports, and spirit.
