We like Russell Prater Elementary School, where we've sent our kids since 1988. Now unfortunately we may be forced to pull our youngest daughter out of RPES because the Buchanan County School Board in its' infinite wisdom has decided to cancel the bus route. It breaks our heart to think that we may have to pull our child out of the school she loves and is comfortable in. Away from friends and Faculity that she knows and trusts, and put her in a school where she knows no one. Russell Prater is a great school .
Russell Prater is the best school in the county. They have the most caring staff that I have ever seen. To them your child isn't just another number their a person who needs their help. My child has ADHD and they try to help her in every way they can.
