Great students, great community, great faculty & staff!
I am an alumni of WBHS (Class of 2008) and I loved the entire 4 years I was there. The teachers are amazing and make learning fun. WB is really big on the sports. In 2007, the football team won the Blue Ridge District which was a big moment in the school's history. Byrd was the best school I was ever in and I am sad that I am no longer a student there. Dr. Turner is a great principal and makes sure each student gets the education they deserve. Byrd has so many different extracirricular activities including clubs, sports, and JROTC. Every student can find someone there to become their best friend. As Dr. Turner would say 'Accept Only The Best At WBHS'.
I give this school an 8. Strong on sports and extracurricular activities, especially the arts and JROTC
I am so happy that my child goes to this school. She is very happy. The teachers really make it fun to learn. The enviroment is great. Parents are really involved.
