This was the worse school my child attended. There is a teacher in the 7th grade who is a bully and the administrators know it and allow it. They secretly pick students for the foreign language classes especially Spanish to make sure they get a spot before they let all the other children know. Children who made the honor roll never got acknowledged at the awards ceremony not even the children who made straight A's for the entire year, only the children who get 500-600 on their SOLS and children who accumulated the highest gade average in a subject for the entire grade. The children are very bright in that area but the administration is a mess. It was so bad I pulled my child out in the middle of the year. The best decision I ever made.

The school is very old and needs to be replaced. The Gym has no airconditioning and the locker rooms smell of mildew or mold. The students lockers cannot have locks on them, except for gym lockers. The students have only 3 minutes to get to their classes whether it is an outside building or not, plus their lockers or bathroom trips. They need a Social Studies teacher. The teachers have to take turns teaching their curriculum, plus a section of history. The school says they cannot afford one and do not have the physical room for one. The students can have an unlimited number of tests or quizzes given on one day by teachers. No special days or caps are given to allow an acceptable amount of tests, so students do not become overloaded and stressed.
