My school is awesome you know everyone and everything that has ever happened to that person, but most of all you get to have a real relationship with your teachers and people that are a lot older than you. I have never been to another school other then mount rogers and i don't want to. I don't want to not no everyone and there history. Last year there were 7 seniors yea you may say it's small but actually that was the second biggest class.

I was a student at Mt. Rogers and I loved it. I had attended larger schools before moving to the area, but because of the smaller classes we were able to get more individual attention from our teachers. I did go on to college and now I have a wonderful job. I owe a lot of what I am now to the way I was taught at Mt. Rogers. Yes, we did have a lot of snow days, but we always made them up. We lived in the country and we could experience the wonders of nature first-hand. I would gladly let my children attend Mt. Rogers if we lived in the area. It is difficult for them to get the teacher's attention when there are 20-30 children in the classroom. Thanks to everyone at Mt. Rogers.

This school is very small with 82 students and it is K-12. The eight grade class has 5 students. It is in a very small community where not that many people live. It somtimes can be very cold and we miss lots of school most of the time because of the weather. We usually get out of school in June anywhere from the te begining of the month to the sixteenth.
