Both of our children attend PCS and they, along with my husband and I, love it. It is an academically challenging school and our children have risen to the challenge and have enjoyed it. While challenging, it has a nurturing environment and an understanding of children and how to get the most out of them. The Head of the School and the teachers are demonstrate great leadership skills. It is a happy place. The extracurricular activities are lacking to a degree; however, when we actually evaluated it, our kids activities are non school related so it did not really matter. This is a great school and we cannot say enough good about it. Send your children today!

All three of my children have attended Providence since Kindergarten. We can not imagine our children anywhere else. They truly enjoy school and are learning so much! They even tell their friends about their school. We are truly blessed to be a part of the PCS family.

Providence Classical School is a wonderful school that has provided our children with an incredibly rich, solid background in all subjects. We have been part of the school family since the school opened, and have been pleased with its steady growth. We are very excited about the new head of school and her initiatives for growth. The caring teachers, wonderful staff and dedicated volunteers are all part of why we love the school. The classical curriculum and teaching methods provide a tremendous base of core knowledge -- the student's in-depth knowledge across a broad range of subject matter is impressive. Our kids enjoy their teachers, classmates, class projects, field trips and special events. We have participated in many of the extra curricular activities, such as Battle of the Books, band, yearbook, school musicals and chess club. We believe our children will benefit from this education for years to come.

PCS is a wonderful school!!! It has undergone some drastic changes since that last parent's comments!!! The school now has an amazing head of school. An extremely talented, Christian staff replaced the faculty members that left in 2005-2006. Also, the Board (who hired the faculty) is dedicated to ensuring the continuity of the school (as evidenced by the change in the administration) while maintaining consistently high standards for its leadership. The curriculum is the BEST in the area. The school's Stanford test scores are EXCELLENT and prove that the school is doing all the right things! I would hope that other parents don't base their school choice on a particular administrator or teacher. Change happens all the time. Look at the curriculum. Look at the test scores. It's a wonderful learning environment. The school is young. Every young school has growing pains. Hopefully, 2005-2006 was it!

PCS has left us with a great disappointment. It was a great thing when our child began attending two years ago, but sadly we were forced to make the choice to leave. A board that refuses to act upon parent concerns and honor its commitments and a new headmaster that shows no leadership initiative with which to guide the school are the main factors in that decision. While other schools in the area are growing, at the end of the 2005-2006 school year, PCS lost 6 of 10 teachers and 30% of its students. Facilities are poor and they can't offer much in the way of extracurricular activites, but that did not matter while they stayed true to their classical mission. Now we are not sure what their mission is. We could not stay where we did not feel 100% confidence in the quality of the school.

I could give you my review but my kids can tell you the best. My kids wake up ready to go with a smile on their face. The teachers and staff are the best. The families all stick together and always lend a hand. The school is growing year by year and the smiles are getting bigger. My kids have learned so much. I couldnt see my self sending any other school.
