Indian Hollow Elementary School

This school is well maintained with a wonderfully playground set at the foot of a mountain. I was very happy here at first, but as the years passed, I have been increasingly dissatisfied. The students are brow beaten at every turn. My child's self-esteem has plummeted. The students dare not "step out of line" or they are punished. Also, the school rewards liars. Your child can be accused of anything and will be punished without any evidence.

Excellent school! Came new to the area. Principal greeted children on first day by names and personally escorted to the classroom. Staff on the ball with educational and social needs of my children. Would recommend to a friend!

My son is finishing 5th grade at IHES and boy am i glad! After 2 wonderful years we came into this final year with nothing but negative feedback every day. He hates school now and I can honestly see why. It seems as children get older and develop more personal character the teachers should become a bit more mature as well. My feedback is this alone.do not attend this school if you can go elsewhere. My only applaud goes to the lower grade levels.

My son has met with great success academically at Indian Hollow Elementary school. His teachers, bus drivers, cafeteria staff, and peers are wonderful and supportive. Excellent school!

As a tax paying parent of an Indian Hollow Elementary School student, I see myself as a customer of Frederick County. As such, my wife and I would like to give the administration and faculty of Indian Hollow Elementary our thanks and appreciation. The efforts and communications provided have been first rate. I would recommend Indian Hollow to any parent and would like to encourage the administration and faculty to keep up the great work.

I have found the teachers here to be fantastic. I have met one of the best teachers at this school. He has done a wonderful job with both my children though their needs are very different.
