Very impressed with the principal's daily interaction with parents and students. The school is always clean and decorated beautifully. Very safe school and location.

This school is awesome. I've been in education for over 10 years and I've seen the good, bad and every thing in between. This school represents the old school accountability with the new school ways perfectly. Parents are involved, teachers care, administration is available and the PTA is over the top. Students come first and there is a lot of support for parents that want it.

I have two children at Windsor elem. and could not have asked for a better school for them. The teachers and staff are dedicated to the students, both in their education and well being. The facilities are fairly new and very well maintained and always impressively clean. I have not had the oppportunity to eat in the cafeteria, but the kids love it and the monthly menu is very healthy with a plethora of different foods. A happy parent.

My experience at Windsor elem has been a wonderful one. My son has been through a lot before he went to school and Windsor elem has helped him make remarkable progress. His teachers are excelent and the principal and asst. principal have been understanding and very helpful with our situations. To me, this school is a hundred times better than where he would have gone if we haven't had moved. I do not know much about the PTA, as I have not had the time to be a part of it, but I have seen what the PTA has accomplished for the teachers (Last year the kindergarten teachers got lots of new toys from the PTA). As with any school I am sure that there is room for improvement, and there is always next year! If there is something you dont like, then do something about it!

The administration is extremely prejudicial and does not welcome all parent involvement. We have been at other IOW county schools and compared to them Windsor has alot of room for improvement. PTA is less than average, however there are some great teachers mixed in there.

The PTA is weak. When my child transfered there from another school he had already been taught everything they were doing in his new class. They do have some good teachers there and many of the parents would be even more involved if allowed.

A fairly new and very beautiful school and grounds. A new principal has taken charge and there has been remarkable improvement in the last 2 years. The teachers are all superbly qualified and truly care about each childs progress. Color coded hallways and rooms help the new student avoid confusion. Lunch food is tolerable, sometimes even delicious!

Wonderful facility. Strong leadership. Active PTA as well as the faculty and staff. The overall demeanor is that of professinalism as well as a genuine sense of caring for the students. Many activities and resources. Always room for growth and learning activities for the children.
