The quality of the teachers is for the most part outstanding. I do wish the guidance counselors were more conscientious about how they scheduled students. They seem to schedule them into classes as they fit rather than as they belong.

Well I have always been impressed with the academics of Windsor High School. It was my pleasure studying there for my freshman year of highschool and participating in soccer and volleyball. Since moving from Windsor I have realized what a priviledge I had while attending that school. Not only were my classes more challenging and more concentrated but I feel that the people of the school made the experiences all the better.

Coming from a high school in Suffolk, I must say I am highly impressed with Windsor! We have been extrememly pleased with the things that Windsor has offered for our son. You dont see the same 'styles' as in Suffolk. The kids appear to be much more polite, respectable and all around better! I havent seen anything thus far to complain about and If the rest of the high school years remain the same as the present, we wont have any future complaints either. Windsor has been GREAT in helping with our sons acedemic performance. A= for Windsor High School!!

Windsor High School is a very good school. The teachers are very committed to their students. I have had numerous calls after hours from teachers concerned about my sons performance and grades. They have offered extra after school tutoring. The school even offers tutoring after school with transportation for students who are at risk of not passing SOL test. I have been very impressed with this school and the people who work there.

I think Windsor High is one of the best schools a child can go to. I graduated from there in 1978. I have a daughter who graduated in 2002 and another daughter who is as senior this year. They have always been very involved in extracurricular activities such as cheerleading, volleyball, softball, class officers, SGA leaders, Beta Club, DECA Clubs, homecoming courts, etc. and have had excellent grades on top of that. The teachers are great and the principal stays very active and involved in everything that goes on there. It has always been a very safe school and one that I am very proud to have been a part of. Go Dukes!

Windsor does not offer any after school help for students who need extra help. I also feel Windsor does not offer a wide variety of courses that are needed in todays world. This leaves students at a big disavantage in the job market. Way behind times!!!
