This school is not a good school. My child is a gifted child in the fourth grade and is not learning anything. He passes every single pre-test with no errors. We will take him out of this school at the end of the year. Burnt Chimney also does not have even have a lick of gifted programming. My child has only attended this year and will not be going back next year.

I have a son that began the pre-k program in November 2006. So far it has been wonderful. He has learned so much. His teacher is excellent. He has adjusted so well. I was so afraid that he would not adjust & would always cry, but he has done great. The other staff are great too. I have had interactions with the nurses, secretaries, & cafeteria workers. All of them have been more than helpful so far. I think this is a wonderful school.

We have 2 children in this school and we think it is an excellent school. The office personnel and the pricipal know all the kids and parents by name. The teachers and staff are outstanding and very observant of the students. If they notice that your child may have a problem (ADD, hearing problems, sight problems, etc.) they will bring it to your attention. They also have outstanding music classes and computer labs. All of the staff and volunteers seem to make it a point to have some kind of personal connections with the students that they interact with. The teachers are all very friendly and don't mind calling you from their home to discuss your child at YOUR conveniece or just to follow up on your child after a sickness, abscence, or Dr. appointment. All the teachers seemed focused on each child's success in this school.
