My daughter attended this school from 2nd -5th grade and just graduated last year to Middle School. We loved this school and all the extercurricular activities they do there as well. The teachers genuinely cared about my daughter and all other students and I highly recommend it.

This school has been beneficial to me, especially my eldest child that started 1st grade and now that he is leaving to attend Middle school, I will miss this place. The school nurse Mrs. Carpenter is so wonderful. She was like a mom in the school for my child. The teachers, staff and everyone there have been so Supportive to me. I would highly Recommend Minnieville to any parent looking for a nurturing school.

About the tests

In 2012-2013 Virginia used the Standards of Learning (SOL) tests to assess students in reading and math in grades 3 through 8, writing in grades 5 and 8, and science in grades in 3, 5 and 8. The SOL tests are standards-based, which means they measure how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Virginia.
