The teachers are excellent, the principal is nice and the PTA is active. The infrastructure is good too.
Every since my son started Rockledge, his entire life has totally just went up. His confidently his level of education has drastically improved. Thank you so much for the teachers, counselors and principal.
This is my daughters second year at Rockledge and she is in second grade. She is working hard on improving her reading skills. Her teacher has been fantastic with boosting her confidence and allowing her to reach indivdual goals. She also gets help from resource teachers. Rockledge has a great staff!
I am very happy with the level of education that my children are getting at Rockledge.
This school is great for the kids who are advanced learners, but forget about the ones with challenges. They have no patience for this.
I wish I had known about this school a long time ago. My son went through 4th grade and will continue through 5th grade. The school is very warm and caring. His teacher was open with me and kept me informed about everything my son was doing. I felt very welcomed at this school. The diversity is a plus. I think the kids at Rockledge are exposed to more ethnic backgrounds which in turn gives them more understanding and knowledge of the ways of others. Definately a great move for us!
Two of my children are currently attending Rockledge Elementary School. I am so happy about sending my children there for a number of reasons. First of all, the staff and the administration offer a caring and nurturing environment, which is especially needed in the primary years to foster security and self-confidence. Secondly, the teachers and Administration work hand in hand in such a smooth working relationship which is depicted in everyday school activities. I also like the way the staff makes everyone feel important and special in his/her own way. The staff and administration (including guidance counselor) respond to parent concerns/comments/complaints immediately. The staff is nurturing, moreso, especially in the kindergarten and first grades, but as the students getting into the higher grades, they start getting firmer and more structured. I truly love this school, love the education my kids are getting, and love the staff. They are great!!!
