I dont think this school is at all in touch with the outside world...it is out of date and wastfull with its spending...it still has beauty pagents...this is complete disregard for the funds that are given by the comunity for the school...this school is not even competing equally with other schools in the state...so its my opinion that your children would be better off in home school or in another school...this one is living in the dark ages

I graduated from Woolwine Elementary. My oldest daughter just recently graduated from WES. WES is a wonderful school. The principal is a wonderful person and has been very good for our school. The teachers there are all really nice and caring individuals. My experience there and my daughters have been wonderful memories. The school and the parents all work together in the community to make sure our students have the best possible school. My youngest daughter is in the second grade there presently and just loves her teacher. If you are looking for a good school with caring teachers and principal then WES is the place for your child. I now live in floyd and I drive down the mountain every day to bring my kids to WES because they love it there and I want my kids to be happy and enjoy school.

All of my chrildren go to this school. As a younger parent of three, I really do like this school. They treat every parent the same nobody more important than the other. the classroom are small no more than 15 children in most classes. that i think is better for teachers and the children also. My husband also attended the school as a child.
