Model Secondary School for the Deaf is really awesome! It makes me feel welcome and this is like my second home. It makes me join in different activies where we can keep ourselves busy. I came here because I am new here and I notice that it is better than my home district schools, they are public. I went to a middle public school, Noble Middle School, when I was eighth grade and I had an interpreter there everyday. I am only the deaf in that school and I even took a teaching part of ASL class to any students who wanted to learn ASL from me. They never listened to me very well and I gave up and I moved to here. MSSD is a great school for me!!!

MSSD is very enriching, prestigious school especially for deaf, above the average, amongst the deaf pupils are equally educated as standards in America, and 80 percentage of class per year are most likely to graduate from 4 years universities in District of Columbia or other univerisities in New York and California.
