My nephews has been there for the last three years and now the school is under new leadership, since last year, the school is doing great. This being high school, a lot of the academic success fall on students wanting to learn, but Hospitality makes sure they have all the tools needed to succeed in school, college and in their career. Its a relaxed atmosphere of fun and 'hospitality'.

This school has not been rated for 6 years but has changed dramatically. Look at test scores, college going scores or historical data. The solid record of the school is clear cut.

This school's teacher and administration are serious about students getting into and attending college. If you want your students to do well in high school and attend college- this school is a good choice.

Contrary to what is written above, I love attending Marriott Hospitality High School. I am currently a senior and I feel as though I am challenged everyday with a demanding courseload and pushy teachers. My schedule includes classes ranging from AP English and Honors US Government, to Pre-Calculus and Probablilty and Statistics which I take at the Catholic University of America. The school has truly 360ed and I know that by the end of the year, I will be ready to face the challenges that await me in college! -Okezie Nwoka

I attended Marriot when it was no good.Teachers didnt care what you did, they basically handed out A's and B's to the kids. All we did in class ALL day was talk amongst us and basically ALL of the school had left and were skipping by around 11am everyday.I now attend college and can see that I had NO preparation for college.Thank god in my senior year I transfered out of there and I was able to receive some college preparation in another school.I dont now how the school is currently, but I wouldnt be surprised if it is in the same condition.A shame though, there are some very bright intelligent young kids in Marriot, they just dont simply get teached and challenged.

I attended Marriott and at that time this school was not good at all. We had to much time on our hands and basically did what we wanted. I now attend college and realized that I was not fully prepared for college. One good thing is that I was able to take classes at UDC.
