This school is one of supreme excellence. The teachers are so attentive and the Administrative staff has the passion and commitment that is exuberant each day. This is D.C's best kept secret.!

ADLRP is an innovative educational institution in Northwest Washington DC. I had the pleasure of having two older children graduate from ADLRP fully prepared to enter college. My oldest child attended American University on a full scholarship, while my second child attended Howard University with grants and other financial aid. I once again have two elementary aged children who have attended both charter and public schools for grades Pre-K to 4th. The experience with those schools could not compare to what I had previously experienced with ADLRP. As a result, I recently enrolled my two young children at ADLRP to ensure that they receive the same high quality education that their, now adult, siblings experienced. All students at ADLRP play musical instruments, and the instructors are musicians and artists who are recognized, nationally/internationally in their fields. I have attended many of the spectacular concerts and theatrical productions put on by the students of ADLRP. The children of ADLRP are readily recognizable, partially because of their impeccable uniforms, but most importantly for their discipline and decorum as they travel about the community. ADLRP ROCKS!!

I have a son that attends this great school. He is currently in the six grade. This is a great and wonderful school. My son has had great teachers since enrolling in this school since age 4. He has had the opportunity to grow daily while attending this school. I would recommend this school to anyone who is looking for their child to succeed in their education pursuits. My daughter also attend this school who is now in her first year of college. Tghe administration staff is the greatest the athmosphere is second to none. The opportunities for my son to be successful is 100% because of the hard work, dedication, and Godly respect surely there.

Over the past several years, I have had the privilege of volunteering as a computer lab instructor at ADLRP. Each teacher, including the Dean of Students, is devoted to the academic as well as the spiritual development of the students. ADLRP is managed with excellence and the atmosphere within the school is conducive for learning. The students were respectful and eager to learn new aspects of the computer. In my view, the students within ADLRP are the future leaders for our country. I have witnessed students mature and advance academically as they progressed in the Abeka curriculum. ADLRP is a remarkable Christian school which embodies intelligent, caring, and loving people. It was my delight to assist the students at ADLRP with computer assignments and I definitely enjoyed myself!

I am a single parent of 4 children who attend(ed) ADLRP. One graduated and now works at the school, one is a senior, one in 6th grade and one in 3rd grade. ADLRP has been one of the greatest blessings in my life and in the lives of my children. The teacher-student ratio is small, thus the children can't get lost in the crowd. They teachers are dedicated, thorough, intelligent, and loving toward the children. ADLRP is an unapologetically Christian School - given to God's order. Using the Abeka curriculm and teaching the principals of the Bible have resulted in great positive change in the students. Faculty and Staff are not just interested in advancing students educationally, but comprehensively also. They care if the sun rises or falls in the lives of these children and their families. Its a safe place. A rare find. A must for our children

My son attended ADLRP ICDS and graduated in 2008. His teacher (even though not salaried) prepared him, as well as the other children, academically and spiritually. ADLRP is unapplogitically spiritually based on the Word of God. The environment is conductive to the Holy Spirit and there He resides. As the children go out on different field trips they get so many great compliments on their behavior and how their uniforms look as a group of perspicacious girls and boys. ADLRP is a small private innovative school that is culturally diverse. It is a haven for the children to be nurtured, ehile being taught and loved. My son scored post high school level in a most of his subjects and above grade level in others. I look forward to putting my grand children in ADLRP. The Faculty is AWESOME too. God bless you, ADLRP and keep up the great work.

My oldest child graduated from ADLRPICDS and received an academic scholarship to American University. I have a daughter who will graduate this year and she has scored Post High School Level (college level) on the Stanford 10 Achievement test since her early middle school years. The school provides small classes and a college prep education. This is a wonderful Christian environment for students who want to achieve excellence in every facet of their lives.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

What is the GreatSchools Rating?

The GreatSchools rating is a simple tool for parents to compare schools based on test scores, student academic growth, and college readiness. It compares schools across the state, where the highest rated schools in the state are designated as “Above Average” and the lowest “Below Average.” It is designed to be a starting point to help parents make baseline comparisons. We always advise parents to visit the school and consider other information on school performance and programs, as well as consider their child's and family's needs as part of the school selection process.
