Academic focus and philosophy

Educational philosophy and approach to learning BASIS.ed has raised the standards of American education to the highest international levels for 18 years. We hire bright, passionate teachers to support any student who wants our world-acclaimed, AP-infused, STEM-focused liberal arts curriculum. Our 23 schools are listed among the nation’s best by any measure — rankings, AP and PISA/OECD testing, National Merit Scholarships, college admissions, and merit aid — because we treat the classroom as sacrosanct, and teach students to love learning.
