My son attends Sunset. Teachers and Staff are wonderful they all work very hard to make sure our children learn and are safe. Mr. Dotson is devoted to this school we are so lucky to have him and every teacher at Sunset.
we jsut moved here from nevada and my sons school in nevada was great. I was so happy when I went to sunset elementry and found that not only was my son going to attend a nice school it is even better than the one he previously went to. the teachers are fantastic and the principal is very freindly. overall the staf at sunset elementry has been amazing. the school grounds are jsut as nice. they are very clean and kid friendly.
Staff and school are excellant. District is great. They have children always first!
Great small town school with lots of parent involvement. They have great extracurricular activities to keep the kids busy. WASL scores a a bit low and they need to work on highering those. Overall a great school.
Both my children have gone to Sunset from k-5. They have had a great time especially when Mr West was principal. The music dept is great, she really gets involved with the children.
Sunset Elementary is a great school. The staff really care about the kids that attend there. If the school can bring up the testing scores, this would be the perfect school.
Sunset Elementary School has something that most other schools in this country cannot claim they have. Sunset has overhead sound amplifications systems in every classroom, the gym, and even the library. This awesome feat has been accomplished by 'Listen to Learn'. 'Listen to Learn' is a group of three dedicated women who believe strongly in what they are doing and want to help children learn better. Overhead sound amplifications systems help teachers overcome background noise and can raise academic scores by an average of 12%. Children who can hear better can learn better. I am very proud to say our school has these systems in every classroom and our teachers love them and use them. Good Job Sunset Elementary and Listen to Learn
