The rule was to tell first. If your told on somebody first, you were the one who being bullied. If someone told on you, you were the bully.

Supports LD students: Strongly disagree

If your child is not in a gifted program (even worse, learning difficulties as a result of extremely inexperienced teachers in previous WA state schools), your child fill be on Cindy Kelsey's black list.

Amount of homework: Strongly disagree

Homework comes on a piece of paper, copied from somewhere. Really, not much homework at all. "read at least 20 minutes a day" - something like this for reading.

In the beginning of the school year, Mrs, Kenlsy's favorite entertainment was to hold an assembly during which she talked about guns. During her speech she would make a gun shape with her hand, show it to the kids (lots of 6, 7, 8-year old there) and say to never make this shape. After this assembly, she would watch like a hog, catch those few who will foolishly remake the shape they never saw before (again, think of a curious 6 or 7-year old), drag them to her office and call their parents, hysterically asking the kid to "tell the mom what shape you done with your hand". Am I glad she was not the one to teach sex education to children! I know few families who took their children from this school in the middle of the school year because of Cindy Kelsey. Oh, if your last name does not sounds foreign, you should be fine. She only picked on those, who, she thought, could not retaliate. "Educators" like this make parents discover a challenging, but very rewarding way of homeschool learning.

My daughter currently attends Meredith Hill Elementary and we have been so happy with this school. There are numerous activities made possible by the very involved PTA. It is a safe school with staff that are happy to be there and with a caring principal. The children who attend this school thrive here. I disagree with the previous comment about lack of diversity at this school. Many of my daughter's classmate's are from different cultures. There is a steel drum band and Winterfest honored the many holidays celebrated by different cultures in the winter.
